Calcium hydroxyapatite is a mineral that forms part of the natural composition of bones, which makes it a safe and effective product. It is practically painless and has exceptional results in aesthetic medicine.
It is mainly applied to the face, although it can also be used in other areas such as the arms, thighs, knees, abdomen and buttocks.
It is a VERSATILE FILLER, which provides VOLUME INCREASE, CONTOUR RECOVERY AND FACIAL REJUVENATION.
Once injected, it provides an immediate filling effect but, unlike Hyaluronic Acid implants, its action does not stop and continues; stimulating the production of collagen in a natural way, producing a facial remodelling that results in tighter skin, without flaccidity, with more contoured and defined contours and at the same time correcting moderate and deep wrinkles.
Placement and durability
We usually implant this product in subdermal tracts with a very fine needle or cannula in those areas of greatest flaccidity or where the skin has lost thickness and appears devitalised. The hydroxyapatite vial contains lidocaine (anaesthetic) which makes the procedure practically painless.
The results are immediate, but the effect is complete after three or four months, when the results should be checked, and lasts for a year.
